The
Aikido is a Japanese traditional art, was developed by the O-Sensei
Morihei Ueshiba (1880-1969), being today one of the modern martial arts, based on the older arts battle of Japan.
AIKIDO is formed by three Kanjis, that translated of a basic form means AI: Union, Harmony KI: Vital Energy DO: Way. Reason why it would be possible to be translated like:” The way of union of the Energies of the Universe”. The
Aikido is considered one of the Japanese martial Art more traditional, but difficult to learn and that it requires greater persistence and constancy for that practices it. But also he is most beautiful and pure, the one that represents with greater fidelity authentic spirit ZEN. Like physical activity this directed to the complete physical improvement of the individual in the sense of elasticity, flexibility, cardiovascular development, relaxation, etc. The principles on which the
Aikido is based are those of not hitting against the attack or the action of the aggressor if not to take this action and to direct it until annulling it, for that reason that the
Aikido not use punch, blockades neither kicks nor in its techniques. Their advantages as opposed to other martial arts, when it is used like self-defense, are based in which simultaneously that provides a high degree of self-protection, it perfectly graduates the answer in agreement with the intention of the aggressor, very to consider when injuries can be caused the same one. By their character of non-violence and the qualities of their movements, smooth and winding, can say that she is most beautiful of the traditional martial arts without arms.
